Our First Grade class is a growing class. This year students begin to read comfortably for them selves, work elementarty math problems and discover the scientific process. They study America, other countries and good citizenship.

Jenny Adams is a wonderful and fun loving teacher who has has been teaching at Cornerstone Christian Academy for several years.
Our First Grade curriculum brings children into the wonders of formal learning in a comfortable environment. The curriculum mixes the use of textbooks and readers with hands-on activities and "Take it to your seat" centers to accommodate a varety of learning styles. The basic curriculum consists of Bible, Phonics (with Language Arts and Reading), Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.
