Cougar readers is a new program for the 2007-2008 school year. It encourages kids to spend time each day reading. They keep track of the reading hours and can win prizes throuout the year.

Instructions:- Get a gameboard from your teacher.
- Put you name and the number of your gameboard on the board (1 for your first board, 2 for your second of the year, etc.).
- Color each pawprint starting at the backpack to keep track of the time you spend reading. Your gameboard is marked to indicate which level you are doing. Each pawprint represents 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or 45 minutes as decided by your teacher.
- Bring your gameboard to the school office for your prizes and for the activities listed. You can complete as many gameboards as you like during the school year and receive rewards each time.
