The 5K and 3K begin at the church/school parking lot and wind through the Raintree neighborhood behind the school.
 They end again at the church where participants can receive door prizes and watch the Jog-A-Thon. The Fun Run includes water stops and fruit/carbs for the participants as well as a commemorative T-shirt and coupon bag. We usually have over 100 doorprizes that are awarded by drawing while you are running. That way you can pick up you prize as soon as you finish. If you would like to be a sponsor for the Fun Run, check out the Volunteers/Fun Run section of this website. After the Fun Run, we hold a Jog-A-Thon. During the Jog-a-Thon, the school kids run laps around a track laid out in the parking lot. They earn funds for the school by taking pledges for the amount of laps that they think they can run. The student who earns the most money usually gets to put a pie in the face of the principal!! If you are able, stay and cheer on the kids as they do their best for their school! Links: |
